Jackson Cini

A native of Horsham, England, and subsequently moving to Cary North Carolina, Jackson started pursuing music at a young age. After graduating from Panther Creek High School in 2016, he decided to further his musical studies under the direction of Dr. Will Campbell at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte

Since graduating in the spring of 2020, Jackson has been heavily involved in the music scene in Charlotte both as a performer and an educator. Along with starting The DJaM collective with his long-time colleagues and friends, Jackson performs with various talented jazz musicians in the Charlotte and Raleigh areas. Jackson has performed with Kobie Watkins, Lovell Bradford, Troy Conn, Ocie Davis, and Ron Brendle, to name a few. Jackson has recently performed as a guest artist with the UNCC Jazz Ensemble and the GWU Jazz Ensemble and performs regularly around Charlotte with the DJaM Collective.
